Amari Refugees Camp

 

Amari refugee camp located south of the two broad categories of Ramallah and El Bireh, The camp with it’s Alleyways, houses & institutions Occupies an area of ninety-three dunums. with population of 8500 people

The camp was formed after the plight of  forty-eight and the displacement of many palestinian people who left behind them their farms even their clothes in a hope that this is a short journey ....... but this Disastrous journey was so long and only god knows how long yet.

The demographics of the camp Population is from the displaced refugees from cities and villages of  JAFA, LUD, RAMLAH, NA’AN, ABU SHOSHAH, ANABA, DEER TAREEF, BEET NABALA, SALAMAH and LEFTA.

Given the proliferation of population and urbanization, which surrounded the camp area and the movement of the camp with more than sixty years, from tents to stone houses (Sanasil) to the homes of cement and construction, most absurd Cracked...And occupation and a repetition of the invasion of the camp, adding to the difficulties of the circumstances of the catastrophe and the other great economic hardship on the people and the population has become clear that advocate the appeal of air contaminated with large numbers narrow houses crowded the camp population has become vulnerable to many pressures, social and mental health and we do not know where and when the end.
