Introduction

 

 

The Society was formed as a result of painfull cries of Those with special needs inside AMARI CAMP to the institutions to help them and give them a hand because they won't find any one to stand by them, so the camp institutions formed a comittee in the camp in the year 1998 wich was it's main goal to help disabled people and the comittee made a Field survey in the camp for the disabled people, which came out with a result that there is a 215 cases as the following:

* 20 Cases as a result of the Intifada

* 16 Cases of loss of sight

* 40 Cases of hearing loss and pronunciation

* 11 Strange behavior disabilities

* 30 cases of difficulty of learning

* 88 cases of Mobility disabilities

* 10 The loss of the parties

the Society also comunicated with all institutions that cares about disability and coordinated with those institutions and established free health days to Stabilize those cases and open medical files for them and the society worked hard to buy a resident for the society to be able to establish all activities inside the resident then a resident was bought but it wasn't paid completely.

because of the special circumstances of the camp the society didn't get the license from any institution bu as a need for foreign comunications, the society worked hard to get the license from official institutions under the name of PALESTINIAN SOCIETY FOR REHABLITATION AND DEVELOPMENT
